Information available at the news desk of Ghbase.com has it that the first gentleman of the country, President Akufo Addo has sacked minister for finance who doubles as his family member, Ken Ofori- Atta.
This dismissal comes after the president made some ministerial reshuffle ahead of the 2024 general election.
In the ministerial reshuffle, many minsiters were reassigned whilst some, including Ken Ofori- Atta, lost their positions as ministers of the state.
Ken Ofori- Atta, per the list released by the president has been replaced by Mohammed Amin Adam, Member of Parliament for Karaga Constituency in the Northern Region.
Meanwhile, concerns of the dismissal of the longtime finance minister were raised some time ago, however, the president turned a deaf ear to them.
