Controversial Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has proposed that two media houses; Peace FM and Hitz FM should be banned as soon as possible.
After the release of his much-anticipated album, Shatta Wale was speaking in an interview on Power FM monitored by Ghbase.com when he made this statement.
“I am not saying that these media houses should not say anything bad about me but two radio stations Hitz FM and Peace FM should be banned”, he said.
When asked why he thinks the two popular radio stations should be banned, Shatta Wale said that those two radio stations do not do thorough research, they are always in a haste to break news which makes them not good enough for people to rely on.
Citing an example, the dancehall musician said that when his 80, 000 pounds issue popped up, they were in a haste to talk about it without doing any proper research.
According to him, they could have done it better by calling Sammy Flex, his manager to get more pieces of information before talking about it.
“Because I find out that they do not do their research well cos the 80, 000 pounds that you are talking about I don’t think somebody who people claim to be a senior radio presenter will just sit and talk about things waaa waaa waaa”, he said.
Adding that “Whilst Sammy Flex is there who is a person that you can call and be like Sammy this is what I have heard ooooo what information do you have about that? Then Sammy will tell you oh it is true, Alordia paid us 80, 000 pounds. This is the bla bla bla. This is how they even paid us”.
The dancehall musician concluded that it is so unhealthy for media houses in Ghana to speculate negative news about his brand.
