The Black Stats of Ghana have exited the African Cup of Nations tournament in the group stage for the second time in a row after an embarrassing 2-2 draw with Mozambique.

As expected, Ghanaians have begun playing the blame game, with accusations pointed at certain individuals as the reason Ghana failed to progress past the group stage of the competition.

Renowned musician Shatta Wale happens to be one of those trying to point fingers at certain individuals, and interestingly, he chooses to blame the presence of his colleague musicians.

Shatta Wale claimed in a Facebook post that the Ghana Football Association had brought “bad luck artists” to the African Cup of Nations tournament because the street only loved himself and his friend Medikal.

The Ayoo hitmaker, however, did not mention the name of the particular artist he is describing as a “bad luck artist,” but it is evident that musicians such as Stonebwoy, kiDi, and King Promise were all present in Ivory Coast to throw their support behind the Black Stars.

Because he had been known for throwing shades at Stonebwoy for many years now, many concluded that Shatta Wale was referring to Stonebwoy with his statement.

Shatta Wale previously reacted to the disappointment in the performance of the Black Stars, known by his reaction following the 2-1 defeat against Cape Verde in the African Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.

According to the multiple award-winning Ghanaian musicians, this is the perfect time to make changes to the name Black Stars due to their poor form and consistent way of losing games, even when everyone expected them to walk over their opponents.

In a video he published via his social media handles, Shatta Wale advised that the name Black Stars, which has been in existence for years, be changed to “Black Soil” because at least Ghanaians will be able to grow something beneficial.
