Sista Afia has opened out about her experience of falling in love and how it hurts to be duped by someone pretending to be her.
The singer of Weather claims that after her long-term partner married someone else while they were still dating, she has lost faith in men.
Sista Afia revealed that the experience of the shocking betrayal left her under a great degree of mental stress, and that her inability to get through the incident ultimately led to her being admitted to a mental health facility.
"I was unaware that he was getting hitched. I was too blinded by love to notice the warning flags. I was devastated to hear that he had tied the knot.
And I needed a lot of time to move past it.
"I was so shattered that I was even admitted to a mental health facility." I won't be able to trust guys for a time," Sista Afia remarked.
Sista Afia, real name Francisca Gawugah, made her music industry debut in 2015 with the release of her debut single, "Kro Kro No," which featured Bisa Kdei.
